Leonor Botelho

Hi! 

My name is Leonor, I'm from Portugal, but I live in France, where I am currently doing my bachelor's degree in Biology and Toxicology of the environment at INU Champollion. Since childhood, I have been passionate about the ocean and animals. Growing up, I often went on little hikes in my village, or swam in the river in the summer; this was enough to spark my interest in nature and appreciate it. 

This passion led me to pursue a scientific path, allowing me to learn more about our world. And what better way to learn than doing by hands-on experience... That’s why I decided to do an internship in a research lab. And because I think that the behaviour study field is fascinating, I decided to join the Laboratório Marítimo da Guia. During this internship, I aspire to gain more lab experience and have a better understanding of the daily routine in the lab.
